Bahamas

There are two Bahamas...One is where the tourists go: Nassau, Paradise Island, etc. - which are extensions of Miami. The other is the real Bahamas: the out islands. They are a country apart from the tourists and offer many wonderful and enchanting places to chase bonefish. The Bahamas are a bonefishing Mecca. Nowhere else in the world are there so many accessible flats with such great numbers of bonefish and a shot at big fish. The are a range of options for the most hard core anglers to families and couples.

Seychelles

A thousand miles off the east coast of Africa, between the equator and 10 degrees south, lies the 115-island nation of the Seychelles. Spread out over 700 miles north to south, the islands are a mixture of solid granite and coral atolls. The two types of islands are in stark contrast to one another in habitat. They are home to diverse species of plants, birds, animals and insects, some of which are found no where else in the world. Best time to visit this remote atoll is October through May. The standard logistics are to fly through Paris on Air Seychelles.

View

Belize

The diversity of the fishing, chasing bonefish, Permit and Tarpon and numerous reef species is what we enjoy about Belize. You can concentrate on Tarpon out of El Pescador, cruise the barrier islands on a mothership or spend a week on Turneffe Atoll fishing for a grand slam.

Christmas Island

A charming South Pacific atoll located 1,300 miles and 2¾ hours by jet south of Honolulu, Christmas Island is currently the most consistent bonefish destination in the world; fishing is excellent every week of the year. It is the best location for beginning flats anglers and one of our favorite bonefish destinations. You will wade and sight fish for two- to five-pound bonefish, some larger, just off the beach and in the huge lagoon. Individual catches of over 20 fish per day are not uncommon. Because Christmas Island is only 119 miles from the equator, the weather is very consistent, with 80- to 85-degree temperatures. Flats anglers will see more fish than can be counted, almost every day. The white sand bottom makes spotting fish relatively easy, even for neophytes. In some areas you will never fish water deeper than your knees. Christmas also offers several species of trevally. Trevally are similar to permit in shape and size, but unlike the finicky permit, they respond aggressively to big flies, poppers and plugs.
